About Us

The Idea Behind Our Company
Our company originated from our own experience as bride and groom-to-be! We wanted to express our sincere gratitude to our family & friends who traveled vast distances to attend our wedding. In addition to wedding favors at our reception, we placed welcome bags in each of our guest's hotel rooms as a symbol of our appreciation. These gift bags were filled with refreshing snacks, directions to all events, local maps, entertainment guides, and Colorado “high altitude” reminders (sunscreen & lots of water) that could be enjoyed and used throughout their stay. Our guests absolutely loved their warm welcome and we heard appreciative feedback about them for months after our wedding.

However, what we thought was going to be a simple gift-giving process actually took a tremendous amount of time, planning, and effort and created some extra stress during an already busy time. Finding elegant and personalized gift bags that coordinated with our wedding was nearly impossible and purchasing snacks that we thought would appeal to our guests took us to dozens of stores. We started The Welcome Bag Company LLC shortly after our wedding. Our mission is to help other brides, hostesses, and event planners save energy, time, and costs by providing one-stop shopping with outstanding products, elegant designs, and exceptional service. Most importantly, we want to help our customers show their appreciation and gratitude for the special people in their lives.
